Your first route through Roblox Evomon — codes, starter pick, the first island, and a starter team — without the early mistakes that slow most new players down.

Quick answer

Redeem the 6 active codes first for free tickets and potions, pick whichever starter suits your playstyle, clear the first island, then spend your rewards building a balanced first team. That sequence gets you the strongest possible start in well under an hour.

First thing to do

When you load in, resist the urge to sprint into the first fight. Spend two minutes setting yourself up instead: open the codes menu, paste in the freebies, and read what the starter screen offers. The rewards you collect now compound for the rest of the run, so a calm opening beats a rushed one every time.

Redeem codes first

There are currently 6 active codes, and they hand out summoning tickets, advance balls, and trait or talent potions — exactly the resources a fresh account is short on. Some season codes are time-limited, so redeem them on day one rather than saving them. New codes tend to unlock at like and member milestones; keep the codes page bookmarked and check back after big community pushes.

Choose your starter

You will be offered a Water, Fire, or Grass starter. As a rule of thumb: Water is the safest all-round pick, Fire clears the fastest but is fragile, and Grass is the stickiest defensively at the cost of more weaknesses. None of them is a wrong choice. See the full best starters comparison for evolution routes and reroll advice — short version: don't reroll, just pick a playstyle and go.

Clear the first island

The opening island is your tutorial in disguise. Fight through the wild encounters with your starter, catch one or two creatures that cover its weaknesses, and work toward the first boss. Keep your starter healthy rather than letting it faint — momentum matters more than speed here. Exact level thresholds vary, so check in-game for the boss requirement rather than assuming a fixed number.

Use your early rewards

Spend the summoning tickets from your codes once you understand what you need — usually a second damage dealer or a bulky support. Hold trait and talent potions for a creature you intend to keep, not the first thing you pull. Advance balls are best saved for higher-rarity wild catches rather than common early creatures.

Build your first team

Once you have a few catches, open the Team Builder and drop in your starter plus your best partners. It shows your offensive coverage and any shared weaknesses, so you can see at a glance which type you still need to answer. Aim for a core that doesn't fold to a single element — that is what carries you out of the early game.

Avoid early mistakes

  • Skipping codes — you leave free tickets and potions on the table.
  • Rerolling for a "best" starter — it isn't worth the time; all three are viable.
  • Dumping potions into your first pull instead of a keeper.
  • Building a team with one type — a single bad matchup can wall you.
  • Over-leveling one creature while the rest of your team lags behind.
